RADIO POSITION AVAILABLE - WECK seeks a radio professional with on-air and production experience. Candidate must be able to write, produce, and perform on-air within the news/talk format. Possible duties include: fill-ins on hourly newscasts, gathering audio at local events, setup and execution of newsmaker interviews in-person and by telephone, and commercial/promotional copywriting, production, and voice work. Candidate must have a flexible schedule, and must provide reliable transportation. Position is part-time, up to 20 hours per week, with possibility of full-time in the future. Hourly rate TBD.

Hometown 1230 WECK's mission is to present the most comprehensive and timely local, national and international news, along with the most compelling talk from some of the biggest names in broadcasting. As a locally-owned and programmed radio station, we have a special focus on serving the unique listeners and businesses of Buffalo and Erie County.
